What a great day for Californians and the rest of America! I'm packing up the car with my future husband and our dog and heading back to the west coast!

Read what everyone is saying about the ruling below:

If you want to get married in California, you better do it fast. The issue may be put on the ballot in 11-08 and overturned.

It truly sucks that the rights of a small minority gets to be voted on by an often hostile majority.

It amazes me that the so-called liberal media has not pointed this out.

Oh hello.. you coulda moved up here to the big MA after the second date and made it legal.. without the threat of a referendum over your nuptials. :)

It still amazes me that we still have our head stuck up our ass this way. Personally I find marriage to be a sad joke these days but that's my opinion. If gay and lesbian couples want to enter into such a union, they MUST be allowed to do so. It will probably take gay marriage to actually restore sanctity within the institution of marraige. Cuz many of my hetero brothas and sistas have made a complete mockery and mess of it. Gays and Lesbians help make the world go around...fabulously I might add..and deserve full and equal treatment from the law. Maybe now we can start to see some positive role models in the public eye! LONG OVERDUE! Good for California!
